Abaloparatide

Abaparatide is a potent and selective activator of PTH-I receptors, which can increase bone mineral content, bone density and bone strength, and promote bone formation.
Abaparatide is injected subcutaneously to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at risk of fracture or who are ineffective with other treatment drugs. It can effectively reduce the incidence of new vertebral and non-vertebral fractures.
Compared with teriparatide, abaparatide can better reduce the incidence of fractures and hypercalcemia.
