Zinc acetate

Zinc acetate
Cas number:557-34-6
Appearance:white powder
Grade:industrial grade
Content:99%
Chemical properties
Zinc acetate is a white crystalline powder. Relative density 1.84, melting point 237℃, decomposes into zinc oxide and acetone when heated to 280℃, and can sublime at 280℃ under low pressure. It is soluble in water and ethanol, and its aqueous solution is weakly acidic. When hydrogen sulfide is introduced, a white chemical book precipitate is precipitated.
Uses
Zinc acetate is mainly used as a catalyst for vinyl acetate, etc., and can be used as a reagent for the determination of sodium, hydrogen sulfide, and protein, a chromatographic analysis reagent, and a mordant for the polyester industry. It can also be used as a chromatographic analysis reagent, a wood preservative, a fabric mordant, a medical emetic, and a disinfectant.
