Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (chemical formula KH2PO4) is a high-concentration phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer with a P2O5 content of 52% and a K20 content of 34%. It has low hygroscopicity, good physical properties, and is easily soluble in water. At 20°C, 23g can be dissolved in every 100 ml of water, and the aqueous solution is acidic. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is a highly efficient and fast-soluble phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer containing two elements, phosphorus and potassium. It is used to provide nutrients required for plant growth and development. It is suitable for any soil and crops, especially for areas where phosphorus and potassium nutrients are simultaneously lacking and for crops that like phosphorus and potassium. It is mostly used for foliar topdressing, seed soaking, and seed mixing, and has a significant yield-increasing effect. If it is used as root fertilizer, it can be used as base fertilizer, seed fertilizer, or mid-to-late topdressing. The aqueous solution can react with silver nitrate to form a yellow silver dihydrogen phosphate precipitate, which can be used as an identification reaction.
