cyclamen aldehyde
Cyclamen aldehyde is a food flavoring permitted by my country’s GB2760-96 “Standard for the Use of Food Additives”. It can be used to prepare citrus and melon flavors. It has a very strong melon and flower aroma, similar to the aroma of Roman melon. Other Chinese names for cyclamen aldehyde are: p-isopropyl-α-methylphenylpropionaldehyde, cyclamen aldehyde, p-isopropyl-α-methylhydrocinnamaldehyde, 3-cumyl isobutyl ether. The aroma of cyclamen aldehyde is stable and lasting, and it is stable to alkali. It can replace hydroxyvanillin and be compatible with a variety of flavors. Therefore, it is widely used in food, cosmetics and various detergents, especially in various flavor formulas. Any sweet floral flavor can be used in moderation to enhance the top fragrance of green flowers and the sense of smoothness and lastingness.
