It is mainly used to manufacture cyanuric acid bromide, chloride, bromine chloride, iodine chloride and their cyanurate salts and esters, and is used to synthesize new bactericidal disinfectants, water treatment agents, bleaching agents, chlorinating agents, brominating agents, antioxidants, paints and coatings, selective herbicides and metal cyanide moderators. It can also be directly used as a swimming pool chlorine stabilizer, nylon, plastic, polyester flame retardant and cosmetic additives, and in the synthesis of special resins.
