Aspartame
Aspartame is an artificial sweetener, an amino acid dipeptide derivative, discovered by chemists in 1965 when they were developing ulcer drugs. It has the advantages of low dosage, high sweetness (150-200 times sweeter than sucrose), good taste, can improve the flavor of citrus and other chemicalbook fruits, reduce calories, does not cause tooth decay, and has lower toxicity than artificial synthetic sweeteners such as saccharin. It is widely used in beverages, diabetic foods and certain weight loss health foods. The formula of the cola we drink in our daily life once contained this product.
